EMDR and trauma-informed therapy for individual adult clients experiencing burnout, depression and anxiety, trauma symptoms, or a desire to find more satisfaction and balance in life.

Individual Therapy

When most of us think of trauma, we think of big incidents—car crashes, assaults, natural disasters. From a neurobiological perspective, however, trauma is anything our nervous system experiences as an overwhelming threat from which we can’t protect ourselves. Seen this way, trauma is relevant to all of us. Much of the anxiety, depression, burnout, relationship difficulties, perfectionism, and emotional exhaustion that brings people to therapy is connected to some form of trauma.

Couples/Family Therapy

We bring so much into our relationships with us: the attachment styles we used to protect ourselves as children; wounds, expectations, and beliefs about ourselves from past partners; emotional needs too deep to voice. Is it any wonder, then, that relationships can feel so hard, or hurt so much when they aren’t going well?

Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy

For the majority of the time that psychotherapy has been around, we’ve been healing the mind through words (Freud, the father of psychotherapy, called it “the talking cure”). More recently, however, we’ve gained exciting new tools, including psychiatric medications and somatic modalities that incorporate the body. The most powerful recent development in the field of therapy is the addition of psychedelic treatment. Psychedelics augment or expand consciousness in ways that reach beyond words, and when paired with therapeutic processing, open up incredible potential for healing, self-discovery, and deep integration.

Equine Therapy

I’ve always had a love of the outdoors, and I’ve experienced so much peace and delight through interacting with horses. I’m excited to offer equine therapy, so more people can experience the healing presence of horses. Through my partnership with a local farm, I’m able to provide 3-hour intensives that combine therapeutic direct interactions with horses as well as time to process and integrate the experience.

You’ve forgotten what your life was supposed to be about

but you’re pretty sure it wasn’t this. You feel like you can’t breathe. You’d give anything to find some rest, but the pressure of responsibilities on the outside and perfectionism on the inside won’t let up.
